On Streetlights, Bonnie Raitt offers up the kind of sweet, hearty soul music that slowly wraps itself around you. I Got Plenty opens modestly with a melancholy piano line that settles into a relaxed groove-but by the end of the first chorus, she's leading a full-on R&B workout decked with wailing horns. Raitts take on Allen Toussaints What Is Success, meanwhile, dives right into a rollicking funk beat as she waxes on money and showbiz with her supple, velvety voice.
