Journal For Plague Lovers - Manic Street Preachers. Лента с персональными рекомендациями и музыкальными новинками, радио, подборки на любой вкус, удобное управление своей коллекцией. Journal for Plague Lovers is the ninth studio album by Welsh alternative rock band Manic Street Preachers, released in May 2009 by record label Columbia. Recorded between October 2008 and February 2009 and produced by Steve Albini and Dave Eringa, it features exclusively posthumously published lyrics by Richey Edwards, who disappeared on 1 February 1995 and was presumed deceased in 2008. It is the only Manic Street Preachers album in which the lyrics for every song were written solely by Edwards. Manic Street Preachers co-lyricist and guitarist Richey James Edwards disappeared in February 1995, just months after the release of their lacerating third album, The Holy Bible. A few weeks before his disappearance, Edwards gave his band mates notebooks containing lyrics that were left unused. After five albums of lyrics mostly written by bassist Nicky Wire, and not wanting to repeat themselves in spite of the commercial success of 2007s Send Away the Tigers, vocalist-guitarist James Dean Bradfield suggested that they finally use the lyrics that Edwards had left behind.
