This should be purchased on site! In years to come this E.P. will be a highly prized slice of wax for any collector. Every track has a long lost Basement Records feel to it and "through the gates of hell" being a personal favourite. Be sure to check out the OSRT release that features an equally brilliant track from Dan Silk.

This is a record that should end up with permanent residency in any self respecting Jungle Tekno DJ's bag! All four tracks are real labours of love, capturing the sound perfectly, yet pushing out the boundaries even further with some added complexity, compared to similar sounds from back in the day. Worldwide Epidemic are carving out a real niche here - buy on sight business!

Dan Silk's second EP showcases a more personal aspect of his production chops. "Proceed" resurrects the iconic "Jungle Tekno" sound pioneered by Jack Smooth (Basement Records) with unmistakable stabs, and high tempo break beats. "Graveyard Swing" brings dark and foreboding chimes to the midnight jungle soiree. "Obliquity" continues with the signature stabs, then absolutely kills it with one of the most euphoric breakdowns, 92 Breakbeat Hardcore pitched "Oh yeah". Sweet pitched vocals but not overdone. Air-ey strings with the lush atmospheric dripping. A real treat. "Penumbria" is more experimental, and techno oriented. You can really hear Silk's advanced synth work on this one. One gets a sense of Silk's versatility and the distance he is creating between his debut, which featured a more obscure and varied take on the first half of 1992.
